To make this combustible mixture, you need equipment capable of removing the solid particles and water contained in the oil, using decanting and centrifugation processes. After purifying your oil, put it through a transesterification process, which integrates the vegetable cooking oil with a chain alcohol to obtain biodiesel.

If you are going to use the oil to sell, know that after it is clean you will be able to market it for a low cost, starting at pennies. Reiterating that this does not mean that it is not possible to make more profit, everything will depend on the amount marketed.

Use recycled cooking oil to make soap

  • Divide the resulting mixture into molds of the size you have previously chosen.

Candle making with cooking oil

To make candles, you will need a nice jar to serve as a mold, a wire to be used as a support for the wick, cotton thread to prepare the wick, sandalwood oil or any other essential oil that produces pleasant smells.

The procedure is very easy to perform, taking advantage of the fact that the oil burns slowly and evenly. Use the wire to make a support base for the wick in the center of the container, use your ingenuity to secure the wick leaving a wick overhang of at least one centimeter above the container. Fill the container with the previously filtered oil and add a few drops of the aromatic oil.

Making moisturizing creams

You will need a few sheets of beeswax, a jar to melt them, suitable containers, aromatic oils and the cooking oil properly rested and filtered.

Place the beeswax in small pieces in the jar, then put it in a water bath to melt the wax, then slowly pour the cooking oil over the melted wax, whisking it enough to emulsify the mixture.

Finally, add drops of the aromatic oil when the jar is full and the mixture is well emulsified, distribute the product in the containers that you have previously selected, place them in the refrigerator to cool and you will have your product ready. The thickness of the cream will be fixed by the proportion of the mixture of oil and wax used.
